TRUBUILD WALLTECT BASECOAT is a single-component, acrylic-based exterior wall waterproofing and protective coating developed to improve the durability and weather resistance of building exteriors. Formulated with high-quality emulsion polymers, graded fine fillers, and performance additives, it acts as the base waterproofing layer within the Walltect exterior protection system and provides strong bonding for subsequent topcoats.

This coating is designed to create a water-resistant yet breathable protective layer, helping reduce water ingress while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Its flexibility and crack-bridging properties help accommodate minor substrate movement and support long-term façade protection. The coating also offers excellent adhesion, UV resistance, chloride resistance, algae resistance, and fungal resistance, making it suitable for exposed exterior environments.

TRUBUILD WALLTECT BASECOAT is generally applied over a properly prepared and primed substrate and is followed by 1–2 coats of compatible exterior topcoat or decorative acrylic coating for final protection and appearance.
